Sisters.

I have completely forgot to write about this day, I need to make sure from now on, every shoot I record and write down my thoughts and feelings asap- otherwise I forget!

Anyway, these beautiful three girls, (two are twins, which I think is nearly every fashion photographers dream to photograph) braved the cold winter sun and allowed me to snap some test photos in hope of using them in the future for my FMP. I was so grateful for the sunshine, that morning it was dark, dull and poring down with rain, I didn't think it'll ever clear up! So, once the rain stopped, we ran outside and snapped away and to our luck, the sun stayed out for the rest of the day.

I've read a few tips recently on how to create a dreamy effect in camera, without the use of photoshop by having the sun behind the model - however I did find it very difficult to not completely darken the girls faces and cause so much flare that it damages my lens, this is something hopefully I can work on and learn whilst taking my photos.

I did have to do a fair amont of photoshopping colours to these images - something I still need to grasp. Can anyone give me some tips on how to create the whole 'cross-process' / film effect without it looking to overdone and cheesy? I need to make sure the skin looks natural, but still making the whole photo pop / sharp. Here are some examples of what I'm talking about!
